NC State Fair

Tonight our girls went to the NC State Fair with some good friends from school.  They just got home. Greg and I are sitting here listening to the run-down.  

Here's how the evening went:

"We got there and said, 'Let's eat something!'"

First stop--Ham Biscuits.

Second stop--Corn

A stroll through a couple of the buildings.

"Let's have dinner!"

Dinner= Gyros (we did have to spend 10 minutes discussing the correct pronunciation of the word).

A few rides.

Time for dessert--Fried Oreos.

Take a look at the five legged goat.  ("It was so sad!")

A trip through the Fun House.

Oh yeah--We can't go to the fair and not have NC State ice cream.  

They give you huge servings!"

Saved the Ferris Wheel for last.                          Fireworks on the way out.

They came in smelling like fair food.  I wonder why?

Greg and I missed the fair.  We stayed home and did what we do every Tuesday night.  We watched the Biggest Loser and had snacks.  

Hmmmm--I wonder where the girls get it.
