Christmas Fun

Looking for something fun to do with your family?  (Okay--this only works if you live in the Raleigh area).

Check out Pullen Park.  The park is decorated with thousands of Christmas lights.  (I hear that this year there are more than ever.)  

It costs $5.00 per person, but that includes rides on the Santa Express Train and the carousel--which is also decorated with Christmas lights. You also get to visit Santa's village.  

A fun outing for a (barely) chilly North Carolina December evening.

Thanks for the suggestion, Kris. We piled my parents, my sister and the three of us in the mini van and headed to Pullen Park tonight! We had a great time. We came home and had hot chocolate and listened to Christmas music. It really brought our family together and got us in the Christmas mood!
